This Cookie Policy explains every cookie and browser storage item used on the Alpha & Omega Sacred Frequencies website. In short: we use only strictly necessary and preference storage — zero advertising cookies, zero behavioral tracking pixels, and zero cross-site profiling.
1. Cookies & browser storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ao_sess | Cookie · Strictly Necessary (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure) | Keeps you signed in to your Alpha & Omega account so you can access your birth chart. Invisible to client-side scripts. | Up to 60 days, or until you sign out |
ao_oauth_state | Cookie · Strictly Necessary (HttpOnly) | Protects against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) while you complete “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Apple”. | 10 minutes |
ao-lang / ao_lang | Browser localStorage · Preference | Remembers your chosen interface language (English, Português, Español, 中文, or हिन्दी). | Until you clear your browser storage |
2. Third-party resources & external links
To render typography and animations, pages load assets from Google Fonts, Fontshare, cdnjs, unpkg, and jsDelivr. If you click “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Apple”, you authenticate directly with Google or Apple under their respective privacy and cookie policies. Similarly, when you click to watch a session on YouTube (@alpha.omega.s.f) or visit a partner store, that external website’s cookie policy applies.
3. Why we do not show an intrusive ad-tracking banner
Under Brazil’s LGPD, the EU/UK ePrivacy Directive & GDPR, and California’s CCPA, strictly necessary session cookies and user-initiated language preference storage do not require opt-in advertising consent. If we ever introduce optional analytics in the future, we will ask for your explicit opt-in permission first with an equal “Accept / Reject” choice.
4. How to manage cookies in your browser
You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Please note that blocking ao_sess will prevent you from staying signed in to view your birth chart.
